How to Purchase a Policy

American Pet Insurance Company does not directly offer or solicit business except through fully licensed and appointed Managing General Agents (MGA).  An MGA is a company that is paid a commission by APIC to source and underwrite pet health insurance on our behalf.  If you are interested in purchasing a policy from an MGA appointed by American Pet Insurance Company, please contact one of APIC’s MGA’s by selecting a link to the right under the Program Partners section.

How to File a Claim

If you wish to file a claim you should report your loss to the MGA through which you purchased your policy.

If you are not sure of the company that helped you purchase your APIC policy and wish to report a claim directly to American Pet Insurance Company, you may do so by calling our toll free number (877) 589-1841 or by sending an email to claims@americanpetinsurance.com.
